BACKGROUND:
Dennis Baker has been Senior Vice-President of the Northern Territory 8 Ball Association since 1993, and is currently the Northern Territory's Rules and Umpires Director.
A long-term resident of Alice Springs, Dennis has variously occupied the positions of President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Executive Member of the Alice Springs Eightball Association for around fifteen years.
Dennis is a Life Member of both the Northern Territory Association and the Alice Springs Association and the former Founding Secretary/Treasurer of the Streaky Bay Eightball Association in the Eyre Peninsula region of South Australia.
Dennis is Food Service Manager of Alice Springs Hospital where he has worked as Head Cook for ten years. Dennis is also Vice-President of the Centralian Trades and Labour Council and a Central Councillor of the Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Worker's Union.
